Subaru EyeSight Anti-Collision System

Subaru unveiled its latest technology, Subaru EyeSight at the New York Auto Show this year. EyeSight is an anti-collision system that will debut on the 2013 Legacy and 2013 Outback, to follow in all other models in the future.

There has been no real talk of pricing yet, although Subaru says "it will be one of the most affordable of such technologies available in the United States Market." The system uses two Subaru-developed cameras, located in the car on the upper sides of the windshield (as pictured).

"Subaru's system bundles pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure and sway warning," according to the article. It can even detect pedestrians at slower speeds.

For more information, check out the article from Edmund's Inside Line here. We'll keep you updated as we hear more and as this system begins to roll out on our lots.

The Inflatable Snowboard

Every third Thursday of the month, Signal Snowboards creates a new innovative snowboard design that "pushes the boundaries of form and function". This week they created an inflatable snowboard. It's not 100 percent inflated, it's still a fully-functioning snowboard - but with some added air where it counts. Check out the video, it's so interesting to see the way snowboards are actually created, especially when there's an inner tube in the mix.

Rather have a Subaru to get you through the snow? Understandable. Head to our website to view all of our new and used inventory or stop by Burlington Subaru today!
