Video Review of the 2014 Subaru Forester

The 2014 Subaru Forester arrives this Spring!
The Fast Lane Car posted a great, long and informative video review of the 2014 Subaru Forester (shown below). Subaru provided some footage for the video and also explain a couple of things throughout.

"When a car has been around a long time and it still continues to sell well, most automakers dislike changing it very much. This is certainly the case with the new 2014 Forester. It has grown slightly bigger, but still carries on, both inside and outside, much of the design and engineering of the current model," according The Fast Lane Car review.

Check out the video below, and be sure to check out our page for info on the heavily-anticipated 2014 Subaru Forester here!

Subaru and Weather.com Team Up to Launch the Driving Difficulty Index Interactive Map

Click to magnify the image!
Subaru has partnered up with The Weather Channel to give drivers a tool for gauging driving difficulty before heading out on the roads. The Weather Channel has a new layer on its online maps that is called the Driving Difficulty Index, where people can use an interactive weather map to see what level of difficulty they'll have traveling in the current conditions.

Subaru's involvement is the included advertising space on all of the maps. They (Subaru) will also offer Car Clinic video segments and tips to aid drivers in improving their driving safety.

Weather Company VP of Weather Analytics Paul Walsh said that the Driving Difficulty Index is a partnership that's unique to the two brands because of their shared focus and expertise on driving safety in potentially-hazardous weather conditions. Subaru is the only automaker whose models are all IIHS Top Safety Picks.

"The index is based on various factors including ice, snow, ponding of water, high winds, and low visibility," according to the article in technology tell. "When selected by the user, the Driving Difficulty Index map shows users where difficult driving conditions are present."

Burlington Subaru Staff Feature: Chris Cassidy

Chris Cassidy, also known as "Cass," "Skeeter," "Cassaroll," "Casstastrophe," "Cassie," "Chrissy" and "Christoff," among many others, has lived in Vermont for the last 28 years and enjoys drinking a cold Switchback; his favorite Vermont beer. This lefty's biggest fear is getting eaten alive by a pack of wolves with rabies, and his favorite food for every meal is medium-rare steak. If this Northeastern grad could be any car, he'd be the "General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard because I like to jump over things," he says.

Chris loves working at Burlington Subaru because "we have some of the best products in the marketplace to sell, and the most common phrase I hear from my customers is 'I love my Subaru.'" Why does he think people should come to Burlington Subaru? "We are a really progressive car dealership with good, committed employees and a great, loyal customer base."

You can find Chris driving his 2005 Subaru Outback L.L. Bean Edition, watching a good showing of The Princess Bride, or dining at either of his favorite Burlington restaurants, L'Amonte and Trattoria Delia.
