The ALG Residual Value Awards are an "industry benchmark", and they're used to project future value and depreciation data of vehicles examined. The Legacy took top honors as the Best Midsize Car, the WRX came in first with Best Sports Car, while the Outback was named the Best Midsize Utility 2 Row.

The Outback and Legacy both received the same awards in 2011 and 2012; Subaru was also named the Best Mainstream Brand in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

“Subaru's redesign for the 2015 Legacy and Outback make these vehicles some of the most refined in their segments,” said President of ALG Larry Dominique in the Subaru press release. “There is little doubt that they'll continue to elicit the strong brand loyalty that Subaru is known for, while enabling the brand to conquest sales from other entries in their segments."

Burlington Subaru Partners With CEFS in Honor of Subaru of America's Annual Share the Love Event

Burlington Subaru Share the Love EventFrom Nov. 20, 2014 to Jan. 2, 2015, Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru sold or leased to the customer's choice of five charities; ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals On Wheels Association of America, National Park Foundation or a local nonprofit chosen by the Subaru dealer; at Burlington Subaru, they have chosen to support CEFS for the second consecutive year in the hopes of raising $40,000 for the local nonprofit.

"The Share the Love event offers us a unique opportunity each year to provide a pretty substantial amount of assistance to a local organization. We're partnering with the Food Shelf again this year because we really stand behind what they do and they work nonstop to provide much needed assistance to local Vermonters," said Burlington Subaru General Manager Steve Kelson. "Our donation goal is much higher for 2014, and we're excited to work hard to reach it."

Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf The $40,000 donation goal is a large increase from the $30,000 goal they had and reached in 2013. According to CEFS Development Manager Sophia Morton, just $1 provides three meals to the Food Shelf; if Burlington Subaru succeeds in their goal of raising $40,000, CEFS could provide 120,000 meals to Vermonters in need.

“The Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf is thrilled to partner with Burlington Subaru again this year. The Share the Love event helps us reach the Food Shelf’s mission of providing our services to 11,000 food-insecure people living in Chittenden county," said Morton. "We are excited for the new and generous goal of raising $40,000, and we have complete faith that the Burlington Subaru team will reach it!"

Chittenden Emergency Food ShelfAlongside providing hot meals six days per week, CEFS offers a variety of other hunger-relief programs; a Grocery Distribution Program, Hot Meal Service, Homebound Grocery Delivery Program, Summertime Brown Bag Lunch Program and a Community Kitchen Academy.
