The highly anticipated debut of the 2015 Subaru Legacy has not disappointed! Displaying at the Chicago Auto Show for the first time today, Subaru has let viewers in on a few more details about the upcoming model, as well as released to photos for the public to take a look at.
So what's new? As you can see from the images, the design is completely updated. It's about the same size as its predecessor, with slightly larger interior and trunk space. The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is now standard, and the Active Torque-Vectoring system that's on the Subaru WRX has been brought into the Legacy, according to Edmunds.
What can we expect for features? Tons of safety features, alongside a slew of infotainment, convenience and technology features. There is a new touch-screen display with swipe and scroll capability, which holds the rearview camera, sterio, CD player, MP3 decoder, Bluetooth and Subaru Starlink (Aha and Pandora Internet Radio). The 2015 Legacy keeps all of the usual safety features its known for, but adds an enhanced rear radar system (on Limited models) that has blind-spot detection and rear-cross traffic alert when in reverse. The Limited and Premium trims both boast Subaru's upgraded EyeSight system.
When is it coming? The 2015 Legacy is set to hit dealerships this summer! But if you can't wait, check out our current new Subaru Legacy info page and inventory. Price on the newest model hasn't been announced just yet, but is expected to be slightly more than the 2014 Legacy.
