Subaru is Prepping Their First Hybrid Vehicle

Are you ready for a Hybrid Subaru?

This March, Subaru is expected to show its first-ever hybrid vehicle at the New York Auto Show. Subaru of America Director of Product Management and Coordination Kenichi Yamamoto recently acknowledged that a hybrid was indeed on its way.

Speculation is that the hybrid drivetrain will be featured on the new Forester, but it's also believed that it will be available on the Impreza and BRZ later on as well. On the right is a picture of the Advanced Tourer Concept hybrid Subaru that was shown at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show.

What do you think? Like the idea of a hybrid Subaru? Let us know! And we'll keep you updated when we know more about a hybrid Subaru arrival. In the meantime, check out our new 2013 Subaru inventory here.

UPDATE: the new Subaru hybrid vehicle will be hitting dealership lots Nov. 1, 2013!
